History
Over 100 years old and still going strong, Indian Landing Boat Club (ILBC) is referred to by many as the "best-kept secret" in Anne Arundel county. Just a short boat ride or drive from Annapolis and the United States Naval Academy, ILBC has provided lifetimes of wonderful memories for many families over the years.

BEFORE the BOAT CLUB

INDIAN LANDING ROAD
started as an Indian trail and became the Colonists' first road. Indian Landing in colonial times became an important trading and tobacco inspection center. A ferry crossed the river joining Indian Landing and Ben Oaks toward Baltimore. There is a gun emplacement on the hill, which held the cannon, placed there to protect the ferry and the port of Indian Landing.
